
Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine
Monisha Das Ireland, MD, FCCP, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. She also serves as Medical Director of the Center for Sleep Disorders at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson. Dr. Das Ireland is board-certified in sleep medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine, providing her with broad expertise in the evaluation and management of complex sleep-related breathing and respiratory disorders. Her academic and research interests include obstructive and central sleep apnea, with particular attention to device-based treatments and alternative therapies for patients who cannot tolerate or do not respond adequately to conventional positive airway pressure therapy. She is also interested in sleep disorders affecting women and in the diagnosis and treatment of restless legs syndrome. Through her clinical leadership, teaching and research activities, Dr. Das Ireland contributes to the development of multidisciplinary and individualized approaches to improving sleep health and patient outcomes.
