The University of Arizona Office of Research & Partnerships Center for Sleep, Circadian and Neuroscience Research is honored to welcome Dr. Marishka Brown, Acting Director of the Division of Lung Diseases and Director of the National Center on Sleep Disorders Research (NCSDR) at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), for a distinguished visit highlighting the NIH's vision for sleep and circadian science.

This special event will provide a unique opportunity for faculty, trainees, clinicians and research professionals to engage with one of the nation's leading scientific leaders in sleep and circadian medicine. Dr. Brown will share perspectives on national research priorities, emerging scientific opportunities and the critical role of sleep and circadian research in advancing public health.

Event Format

This summit will be offered in a hybrid format. Attendees may participate virtually or in person at the Keating Bioresearch Building (BIO5), Room 103, on the University of Arizona campus. Please indicate your preferred attendance option when registering.

Research Showcase

Learn about innovative research programs at the University of Arizona spanning basic, translational, clinical and population science. The summit will also feature a poster session highlighting research from across the sleep and circadian science community. Poster space is limited. If you are interested in presenting a poster, please indicate your interest during registration. Selected presenters will receive additional information.

Interactive Discussion

Engage in conversations on advancing multidisciplinary research, fostering collaborative partnerships and training the next generation of investigators in sleep, circadian, pulmonary, cardiovascular and neuroscience research.
